The Gertrude B. Elion Mentored Medical Student Research Award is available to female medical students who are interested in health-related research and have an interest in pursuing a research project. Women who have completed at least one year at Duke University Medical Center or the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine are welcome to apply.
