The Getlin's Corner Foundation Scholarship is available to the children of enlisted U.S. Marines Corps members, Navy Corpsmen who served with Marine units, and grandchildren of the enlisted Marines who served with India Company, India Company, 3rd Battalion, 9th Marines between January 1 - April 1, 1967. The scholarship was created to honor the men who sacrificed during Getlin's Corner's battle. Students seeking an associate's or bachelor's degree are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Child of U.S. Marine Corps or Navy Corpsman (who served with a USMC unit), OR grandchildren of enlisted Marines who served with India Company, 3rd Battalion, 9th Marines between January 1 - April 1, 1967 (grandchildren must be registered with Getlin’s Corner Foundation)

Minimum 2.00 GPA

Resident of the U.S.

Seeking first associate or bachelor's degree

Maximum Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) of less than $103,000

Demonstrate financial need
