The Gil Taiber Scholarship supports seniors at Janesville High School in Janesville, Iowa; Cedar Falls High School in Cedar Falls, Iowa; Waterloo East and Waterloo West High Schools in Waterloo, Iowa; and Waverly-Shell Rock High School in Waverly, Iowa, as they continue their postsecondary education. Students with strong academic achievement, consistent work experience, and sustained participation in athletics throughout high school are encouraged to apply.

Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree

Participation in sports or work Preference is given for students who maintained employment during the school year. Additional preference goes to students who have maintained employment for multiple years. Preference also goes to students who demonstrate financial need.
