Requirements
  • This program is open to current college students who have a career interest in the technical aspects of broadcasting.
  • Applicants must submit 1) a brief autobiography that includes their interest and goals in broadcasting; 2) a summary of the technical changes they anticipate in broadcasting within the next 5 years, and 3) their most recent college transcripts.
  • They are also required to explain how they intend to use the scholarship award if they receive it.
  • Preference is given to members of the SBE and to students currently employed at least parttime in broadcast engineering.
  • They should have some work experience in broadcast engineering and an interest in continuing their education in order to advance their careers.
  • Financial need is not considered in the selection process.
