The Gladys Hancock Shumway Scholarship is available to graduating seniors from Mt. Vernon High School in Fortville, Indiana who are residents of Buck Creek or Vernon Township in Hancock County. Students planning to attend a college or university in the state of Indiana are welcome to apply. Special consideration is given to students pursuing a degree in education.
