The Gladys Roddenberry Graduate Fellowships for Teaching Excellence is available to students at the University of North Florida College of Education and Human Services who are employed in a school in Duval County, Florida. Students seeking a graduate degree leading to a Florida teacher certification, endorsement, or advanced preparation for teachers are eligible to apply. Special consideration is given to those who have been a full-time classroom teacher for at least three years, but no more than ten years.

  • Studying in a field that will lead to a Florida teacher certification or endorsement or advanced preparation for teachers

  • Currently employed as a fulltime classroom teacher in an accredited school in Duval County, Florida Preference is given to those who have been a full-time classroom teacher for at least three years, but no more than ten years.
