The Glenn A. Higgins Memorial Scholarship is awarded to graduate students at the University of Massachusetts Amherst who have served in the community for at least one year. Special consideration is given to students who have served in the Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA) program, now known as the AmeriCorps VISTA Program.
