The Glenn and Dorothy Schnieber Scholarship is open to residents of Lancaster County, Nebraska who are graduating seniors or GED recipients. Students who plan to attend a 2- or 4-year college or university in Nebraska are encouraged to apply. Graduates of Lincoln High School, those planning to attend the University of Nebraska at Lincoln or Southeast Community College, and those pursuing a degree in business, computer science, or engineering receive special consideration.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Resident of Lancaster County, Nebraska
  • Graduating senior (including homeschooled) or GED recipient
  • Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree from a college or university in Nebraska
  • Exhibit high character and a strong desire to learn
  • Participate in community service, extracurricular activities, or parttime employment Preference is given to graduates of Lincoln High School, those planning to attend the University of Nebraska at Lincoln or Southeast Community College, and those pursuing a degree in business, computer science, or engineering.
