The Golden Door Scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors or graduates living in Georgia, North Carolina, or South Carolina. Students seeking a bachelor's degree at one of the 12 regional partner colleges are eligible to apply. Special consideration is given to students seeking a career-ready bachelor's degree with high earning potential who do not need an advanced degree.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3.20 GPA
  • Resident of Georgia, North Carolina, or South Carolina
  • High school senior, recent graduate, or GED recipient
  • Seeking a bachelor's degree fulltime
  • Planning to attend Agnes Scott College, Belmont Abbey College, Davidson College, Duke University, Elon University, Guilford College, Meredith College, Oglethorpe University, Queens University, Wake Forest University, Wingate University, or Wofford College
  • Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to students seeking a careerready bachelor's degree with high earning potential who do not need an advanced degree.
