Golden Gate District 21 Daughters of Penelope Undergraduate Scholarship provides financial assistance (some programs reserved for women) to members or children or grandchildren of members of organizations affiliated with the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA) in northern California or northern Nevada and interested in attending college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to residents of Golden Gate District 21 (northern California and northern Nevada) who 1) have been members of Daughters of Penelope or the Maids of Athena for at least 2 years; or 2) are the child or grandchild of a member of AHEPA or Daughters of Penelope who has been a member for at least 2 years and attended at least 2 meetings per year.

Applicants must be high school seniors or recent high school graduates enrolled or planning to enroll as undergraduates at a college, university, or community college in any state.

They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Selection is based on academic merit.

The program includes scholarships for women only and for women and men.
