The Great Lakes Safety Training Center Scholarship is available to college students who are residents of Gratiot or Saginaw counties in Michigan. Students pursuing a degree in trades, construction, manufacturing, or engineering with an interest in safety in Michigan are eligible to apply. Recipients are chosen for their special skills and interests in safety and their academic standing.

  • Minimum 2.50 GPA
  • Resident of Gratiot or Saginaw counties, Michigan

  • Studying in the trades, construction, manufacturing, or engineering with an interest in safety
  • Fulltime student
  • Participated in CPR, occupational safety, and/or first aid training
