Gressle Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of Pennsylvania who are sons of Episcopal clergy and interested in working on a degree at a college in any state.

Requirements
  • Applicants must be 1) residents of 1 of the 5 dioceses of Pennsylvania; 2) sons of an Episcopal priest; 3) younger than 20 years of age; and 4) interested in working on a degree at a college in any state.
  • The clergy parent must live in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and must be canonically resident in 1 of its dioceses.
  • Preference is given to sons of clergy in the diocese of Bethlehem; only when surplus funds are available can scholarships be awarded to sons of clergy in the other 4 Pennsylvania dioceses.
  • Financial need is considered in the selection process.
