Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of Oklahoma who are SMACNA member contractors, employees of SMACNA member contractors, SMACNA chapter executives, national SMACNA employees, SMACNA associate members, or immediate relatives of all those groups.
  • Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll fulltime at an accredited 4-year college or university in the United States.
  • They may be majoring in any field, but preference is given to students preparing for a career in the sheet metal industry.
  • Selection is based on that essay, academic achievement, extracurricular activities, community involvement, leadership ability, and character.
  • Financial need is not considered in the selection process.
