Helen and Allen Brown Scholarship provide financial assistance to undergraduate Methodist students from Nashville, Tennessee, and New Orleans, Louisiana who are attending college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to full-time ethnic minority undergraduate students who have been active, full members of a United Methodist Church for at least 3 years prior to applying.

Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and be able to document financial need.

Their church must be affiliated with the Nashville District of the Tennessee Conference or the New Orleans District of the Louisiana Conference.

They must be recommended by their pastor.

U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
