The Helen M. McLoraine Nonprofit Employee Scholarship recognizes students who are employed a minimum of 20 hours per week for a minimum of one year by an eligible nonprofit organization based in the 7-county Denver Metro area. Students who exhibit leadership skills, participate in community service, and are pursuing a career in the nonprofit sector in Colorado are welcome to apply. Additional consideration is given to students whose planned coursework is directly connected to their work or future career goals in the nonprofit sector.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2.50 GPA
  • Resident of Denver , Colorado
  • Enrolled or accepted into a postsecondary institution in the U.S.
  • Studying undergraduate or graduate coursework (do not need to be seeking a degree)
  • Full or parttime student
  • Employed a minimum of 20 hours per week for at least a year by an eligible nonprofit organization based in the 7county Denver Metro area
  • Participation in community service or work
  • Exhibit a commitment to their field
  • Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to students whose planned coursework is directly connected to their work or future career goals in the nonprofit sector.
