The Helen M. McLoraine Opportunity Scholarship recognizes students who have taken steps to overcome challenging circumstances they have faced and are determined to further their education. This award supports students who are seeking a degree in the U.S. and demonstrate academic achievement and potential. Current and former clients of select nonprofit agencies, including Boys and Girls Clubs, Challenged Athletes Foundation, Emily Krzyzewski Center, Escuela De Guadalupe, Figure Skating in Harlem, Mount Saint Vincent Home, On Our Own, PHAMALY, Urban Peak, Warren Village, or WINGS Foundation are welcome to apply.

Requirements
  • Client or former client of Boys and Girls Clubs, Challenged Athletes Foundation, Emily Krzyzewski Center, Escuela De Guadalupe, Figure Skating in Harlem, Mount Saint Vincent Home, On Our Own, PHAMALY, Urban Peak, Warren Village, or WINGS Foundation
  • Former clients must have received services within fifteen years of the application deadline
  • Seeking a professional certificate, associate, bachelor's, or graduate degree in the U.S.
  • Demonstrate academic achievement and potential
