The Helene Thomas Bennet Health Career Scholarship program is open to residents of Yuma County, Arizona who are enrolled or planning to enroll in a medical or medicine related field at a postsecondary institution. High school seniors and current college students are welcome to apply. Female applicants, in alignment with the mission of Soroptimist International, and those who express an interest in returning to Yuma County or Yuma, Arizona to work in medicine or related fields receive special consideration.
