The Hispanic Heritage Scholarship is available to Hispanic students seeking a bachelor's degree at AdventHealth University, Lake-Sumter State College, NUC University, Rollins College, Seminole State College, University of Central Florida, University of South Florida, or Valencia College. Special consideration is given to students who can demonstrate financial need, are from the Central Florida region, and are pursuing degrees in STEM, construction management, hospitality, or a field that represents economic priorities in the region, such as degrees in the arts, business management/economics, or education.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3.00 GPA
  • Resident of the U.S.
  • High school senior or undergraduate student
  • Seeking a bachelor's degree
  • Fulltime student
  • Attending or planning to attend AdventHealth University, LakeSumter State College, Rollins College, Seminole State College, University of Central Florida, or Valencia College
  • U.S. citizen, permanent legal resident, DACA, eligible noncitizen, refugee, asylee, conditional entrant, parolee, or Cuban Haitian entrant
  • Hispanic born in or a descendant of someone born in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, El Salvador, Spain, Uruguay, or Venezuela Preference is given to students who can demonstrate an evident financial need, are from the Central Florida region, and pursuing degrees in STEM, construction management, hospitality, or a field that represents economic priorities in the region, such as degrees in the arts, business management/economics, or education.
