The Holland Family Scholarship is open to graduating seniors from high schools on the Eastern Shore of Virginia or from Pocomoke High School or Holly Grove Christian School on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Students interested in pursuing degrees related to farming and agriculture receive first consideration. Those who have demonstrated interest in farming and agriculture through employment, volunteer experiences, or extracurricular activities receive second consideration.

Requirements

Resident of Virginia

Attending Holly Grove Christian or Pocomoke in the Eastern Shore of Maryland, or from the Eastern Shore of Virginia

High school senior

Seeking a bachelor's degree

U.S. citizen or permanent resident

Participation in community service or extracurricular activities

Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to students interested in pursuing a degree related to farming and agriculture, followed by those who have demonstrated interest in farming and agriculture through employment, volunteer experiences, or extracurricular activities.
