The Home Building Foundation – Jim Irvine Statewide Scholarship supports Oregon students as they continue their postsecondary education. Students studying architecture, construction, engineering, interior design, or landscape architecture who plan to enroll at least part-time at an Oregon college or university are encouraged to apply. Preference is given to students who excel academically and who are studying civil engineering and construction.

Requirements
  • Resident of Oregon
  • Graduating seniors (including GED students and homeschooled seniors) of high schools in Clackamas, Columbia, Multnomah, Washington, or Yamhill County
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree full or parttime
  • Studying architecture, construction, engineering (civil, electrical, industrial, management), interior design/architecture, or landscape architecture
  • Planning to attend school in Oregon
  • Pursuing a career in building/construction site management, CAD/CADD drafting and/or design technology, construction trades, engineering technology, general drafting and design technology, or HAC/HACR, HVAC, HVACR technician
  • U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen Preference given to students with a minimum 3.00 GPA, who are studying civil engineering and construction.
