The Homer David Kahilialau and Thelma Mabara Burge, Sr. Scholarship is awarded to full-time undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at a school within the University of Hawai'i system. Students pursuing a degree in Hawaiian studies are encourged to apply. It is the policy of the Foundation to give preference to students of Hawaiian ancestry to the extent permitted by law.
