The Hopewell Retired Teachers Association's Charles W. Smith Memorial Scholarship program supports graduating seniors at designated high schools in Virginia. Well-rounded individuals with extracurricular activities, scholastic achievement, and active participation in the community are encouraged to apply. Students who are preparing for a career as an educator (e.g., teaching, child care, early childhood development,teacher's aide) receive special consideration.
