The Hotel Association of Tarrant County Scholarship program supports students entering or attending Tarrant County College Southeast Campus. Applicants should be enrolled in a minimum of one course in the hospitality field or employed by a HATC member hotel. Students seeking a professional certification or associate degree in the hospitality and tourism field are encouraged to apply. Those pursuing a career in the travel, tourism, or hospitality field receive special consideration.

Requirements

Minimum 2.5 GPA or a passing GED score

Entering or attending Tarrant County College Southeast Campus

Seeking a professional certification or associate degree in the hospitality and tourism field

Taking a minimum of one course in the hospitalityrelated field **or**

Employed by a HATC member hotel (minimum of 6 months)

Enroll in a minimum of 9 credit hours during the award period Preference is given to students pursuing a career in the travel, tourism, or hospitality field.
