The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Texas FFA Scholarship program recognizes graduating high school seniors who are active members of the Texas Future Farmers of America Association (the past three years) and be listed on the State FFA roster. Students who have completed at least 3 years and 5 different semesters of agriculture, food, and natural resources instruction between grades 9-12 are welcome to apply.

Requirements
  • Minimum SAT score of 1000 or an ACT score of 19
  • Top 25% of class
  • Graduating high school senior
  • Active member of the Texas FFA Association (the past three years) and be listed on the State FFA roster
  • Seeking a bachelor's degree at a notfor-profit college or university in Texas
  • Completed at least 3 years and 5 different semesters of agriculture, food, and natural resources instruction grades 912
