The Howard L. Hughes and Patricia A. Hughes Memorial Scholarship supports residents of Manistee County in Michigan who are graduating seniors from Onekama Consolidated Schools. Students planning to pursue post-secondary education in the state of Michigan are welcome to apply. Special consideration is given to students pursuing a degree in education.

Graduating high school senior from Onekama Consolidated Schools, Michigan

Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree in Michigan Preference is given to students with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher and those pursuing a degree in education. Manistee County Community Foundation staff and their family members are not eligible to apply. Advisory committee members involved in the scholarship selection process and their immediate family members are not eligible to receive a scholarship from that fund. Donors and related parties are not eligible to receive a scholarship from funds that they established.
