The IAM Scholarship Competition provides financial assistance for college to members and children of members of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM). Students seeking a professional certification or, associate degree are eligible to apply.

Requirements
  • Member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, or their child
  • Resident of the U.S. or Canada
  • High school senior or undergraduate student
  • Seeking a professional certification, or an associate degree, full or parttime
  • Attending or planning to attend school in Canada
  • Members must be employed under a contract with the IAM and should continue working until they enroll in college as freshmen or at higher undergraduate levels, or
  • Children of members, the qualifying parent must either be alive or must have passed away after the child began high school
