IBA Underclassman Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors who are members of the International Junior Brangus Breeders Association (IJBBA) and planning to attend college in any state with a major in any field.

Requirements
  • This program is open to graduating high school seniors who have been IJBBA members for at least 1 full year and have a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
  • Applicants must be planning to enroll at a college or university in any state.
  • They must be able to demonstrate a record of promotion of Brangus through achievement in junior activities, shows, and events, but there are no restrictions on their college major.
  • They must also submit 500word essays on 1) which President of the United States they would choose to meet and why; and 2) challenges they see in the beef industry.
