Requirements
  • This program is open to the surviving spouses and children of police officers, firefighters, and other local and state government employees who died in the line of duty.
  • Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll fulltime at an accredited 2- or 4-year college, university, or vocational school as an undergraduate or graduate student.
  • Selection is based on that statement, academic record, demonstration of leadership, participation in school and community activities, academic honors, work experience, and financial need.
