Illinois Chapter AAAEA Scholarship provides financial assistance to undergraduate and graduate student members of the Arab American Association of Engineers and Architects (AAAEA) from Illinois who are working on a degree in engineering, architecture, or computer science.

Requirements
  • This program is open to AAAEA student members who either are attending an accredited 4-year college or university in Illinois or are residents of Illinois attending college in any state.
  • Applicants must be at least sophomores working on an undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, or computer science.
  • Selection is based on their essay on their field of interest (20% for undergraduates, 20% for master's degree students, 15% for doctoral students), GPA (35% for undergraduates, 25% for master's degree students, 15% for doctoral students), the essay on extracurricular activities (20% for undergraduates, 30% for master's degree students, 30% for doctoral students), the letter of recommendation (10%), quality of the application (15%), and publications or presentations (15% for doctoral students).
