Requirements

This program is open to the spouses and children of Illinois police and fire officers who were at least 90% disabled or killed in the line of duty.

Applicants must be enrolled on at least a halftime basis in either undergraduate or graduate study at an approved Illinois public or private 2- or 4-year college, university, or hospital school.

They need not be Illinois residents at the time of application.

U.S. citizenship or eligible noncitizen status is required.
