Requirements
  • This program is open to students currently enrolled at a college or university that offers an undergraduate or graduate degree in noise control or architectural acoustics.
  • Preference is given to U.S. citizens and to women and minorities underrepresented in the noise control profession.
  • Applicants must submit an essay up to 1,000 words in length that covers their work and/or academic history related to noise control or architectural acoustics, any practical experience and coursework that led to working on this degree, why they chose noise control or architectural acoustics, their planned career path for the future, what makes them the best choice for this scholarship, and their financial need.
  • Membership in the Institute of Noise Control Engineering (INCE) is not required.
