Indiana State Teachers Association Foundation District & Retired Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors who are children or grandchildren of members of the Indiana State Teachers Association (ISTA) and planning to attend college in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to children and grandchildren of current ISTA members who are graduating from high school with at least a "C" average.
  • Applicants do not have to attend high school in the same ISTA district where the member teaches and they do not have to live with the ISTA member.
  • They must be planning to attend an accredited training program or 2 or 4-year college or university in any state.
  • Selection is based on academic achievement and leadership as expressed through cocurricular activities and community involvement.
