Intermountain Section AWWA Diversity Scholarship provides financial assistance to undergraduate and graduate students from diverse groups working on a degree in the field of water quality, supply, and treatment at a university in the Intermountain West.

Requirements
  • This program is open to 1) women; 2) people with disabilities; and 3) students who identify as Hispanic or Latino, Black or African American, Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander, Asian, Native American, or Alaska Native.
  • Applicants must be entering or enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at a college or university in the Intermountain West (defined to include the southeastern portion of Idaho and all of Utah) that relates to water quality, supply, or treatment.
  • Selection is based on that essay, letters of recommendation, and potential to contribute to the field of water quality, supply, and treatment in the Intermountain West.
