Iowa Food Industry Scholarship provides financial assistance to undergraduate and graduate students who are members of the Iowa section of the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) and have experience in the food industry.

Requirements

This program is open to undergraduate and graduate students from any state who are members of the IFT Iowa section.

Applicants must submit brief essays on 1) their career goals; 2) meetings of the Iowa section that they attended; and 3) how this scholarship will enable them to contribute to the Iowa Section purpose.

Selection is based primarily on IFT participation and studentrelated activities.

Other factors considered include scholarship, course work, career goals, extracurricular activities, work experience, and letters of recommendation.
