The Iowa Purebred Swine Council Scholarship is awarded to graduating high school seniors in Iowa who plan to attend a community college, college, or university within the state. Students majoring in the pork industry and participating in swine projects and activities are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given to students who show a desire to remain active in the purebred swine industry after graduation.

Requirements

Member of Future Farmers of America and/or 4-H with an emphasis on swine projects

Resident of Iowa

High school senior

Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree

Studying in pork industry related to agricultural science

Planning to attend a community college, college, or university in Iowa

Participate in swine projects and activities Preference is given to students who show a desire to remain active in the purebred swine industry after graduation.
