The James & Margaret Schwarz Scholarship is awarded to Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School seniors in Sarasota, Florida. Students who wish to pursue a career in education and exhibit good academic performance are encouraged to apply. Recipients are chosen by their participation in volunteer and extracurricular activities.

Participation in community service, extracurricular activities, or work Members or relatives of Catholic Community Foundation staff, Board members, the Office of Catholic Schools, the Scholarship Committee, or James and Margaret Schwarz are not eligible to apply.
