The James Bacon, KS ’71 “Little Bacon Urban Achievers” Scholarship is awarded to full-time students with a focus on vocational arts, trades, or other post-secondary education. Speakers of the Ni'ihau dialect of 'olelo Hawai'i, and residents of Ni'ihau, Hilo, and Moloka'i, Hawaii receive special consideration. It is also the policy of the Foundation to give preference to students of Hawaiian ancestry to the extent permitted by law.
