The James Carlson Memorial Scholarship supports Oregon students in the final year of an education program leading to an elementary or secondary teaching certificate as they continue their postsecondary education. Special consideration is given to students in the following order: diverse environments, dependents of Oregon Education Association members, and students committed to teaching autistic children.
