The James Gordon Swanson Environmental Urgency Endowed Scholarship supports students at Montana State University Billings who are committed to environmental advocacy and are pursuing a degree or minor in environmental studies, outdoor adventure leadership, sustainable energy technician, or fire science. Special consideration is given to Montana residents who are juniors or seniors at the university campus or sophomores at City College.
