Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of Wisconsin currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate teacher education program in the state.
  • Applicants must be enrolled in or have completed a course in methods of teaching mathematics and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • If they are a secondary education major, they must have completed 16 credits of mathematics; a statistics and a computer programming or technology application course must be part of their undergraduate or graduate program.
  • If they are an elementary education major, their program must include 6 credits of mathematics; some statistics concepts and some computer/technology knowledge must be part of their undergraduate or graduate program.
  • Selection is based on college performance, recommendations, and potential contributions to mathematics education in Wisconsin.
