Requirements
  • This program is open to graduating high school seniors planning to work on an undergraduate degree at a college, university, or school of specialized study.
  • Applicants must be 1) a direct or collateral descendant of a person who served with the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, the 100th Infantry Battalion, Military Intelligence Service, 1399th Engineering Construction Battalion, or other unit associated with those during or after World War II; or 2) a member or child of a member of the Japanese American Veterans Association (JAVA) whose membership extends back at least 1 year.
