The Jeffrey Grove, DO, LGBTQ+ Pride Scholarship is offered to current osteopathic medical students who are members of the Student Osteopathic Medical Association (SOMA). Students who demonstrate commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equity for all minority groups, including LGBTQ+ patients, and exhibit leadership skills in LGBTQ+ organizations and/or other marginalized communities are encouraged to apply.

Requirements
  • Member of the Student Osteopathic Medical Association (SOMA) and the American Osteopathic Association (AOA)
  • Current osteopathic medical student in II or higher enrolled in a COCAAccredited College or School of Osteopathic Medicine
  • Demonstrate commitment to diversity, inclusion, equity, and access to quality healthcare for all minority groups, including LGBTQ+ patients
  • Participate in extracurricular activities that promote Osteopathic medicine and LGBTQ+ health equity
  • Exhibit leadership skills in LGBTQ+ organizations and/or other marginalized communities
