Requirements
  • This program is open to LSPA members and their immediate families accepted or enrolled at an accredited New England college, university, technical institute, or community college and majoring in an approved program.
  • Applicants must submit information on their educational record, extracurricular activities, employment record, specific shortterm and long-range goals and what they hope to achieve in life, the ways in which their goals are similar to the goal of this scholarship fund and will benefit licensed site professional practice or environmental services, why they want to be considered for a scholarship, and their financial need.
  • The approved programs include biochemistry, biology (including botany, ecology, microbiology, toxicology, and zoology), chemical engineering, chemistry, civil engineering, earth science, environmental engineering, environmental sciences, epidemiology, forestry, geology, geotechnical engineering, hazardous waste management, hydrogeology, hydrology, industrial hygiene, medicine, physical geography, public health, risk assessment, soil science, water resources, and wetland science.
