Requirements
  • This program is open to students who have chosen to major in fields related to forestry, natural resources, or forest product manufacturing.
  • Students majoring in broad fields such as environmental science may be considered if they provide a list of relevant courses.
  • Applicants must submit essays on topics about themselves, such as 1) the events, activities, or achievements that have contributed most to their selfdevelopment; 2) a situation in which they had significant responsibility and what they learned from it; 3) what they consider to be the timber/forest industry's biggest challenge, and 4) how they perceive that their career aspiration might benefit the forest products industry in the future.
