Requirements
  • This program is open to U.S. citizens and legal residents who are San Diego County residents of Hispanic descent (1 or both parents of Hispanic ethnicity).
  • Applicants must be working or planning to work full time on a degree in STEM at an accredited 2 or 4-year college or university in the county and have a GPA of 2.8 or higher.
  • They must be members of the student chapter of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) at their high school, community college, or university.
  • Financial need is also considered in the selection process.
