Requirements

This program is open to U.S. citizens who are 1) dependents or direct descendants of an active, Reserve, retired, or honorably discharged member of the U.S. sea service (including the Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, or Merchant Marines); or 2) current active members of the Naval Sea Cadet Corps.

Applicants must be entering their freshman year at an accredited college or university.

They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Preference is given to applicants of Native American heritage.
