The John & Ruth Blue Scholarship is available to graduates of high schools in Watauga County, North Carolina as well as Watauga County residents graduating from a high school for academically gifted students (such as North Carolina School of Science and Math or the North Carolina School of the Arts). Recipients should demonstrate academic excellence, athletics, and leadership in school, church, and community.
