The John & Ruth Blue Scholarship is available to graduates of high schools in Watauga County, North Carolina, as well as Watauga County residents graduating from a high school for academically gifted students (such as the North Carolina School of Science and Math or the North Carolina School of the Arts). Recipients who demonstrate academic excellence, athletics, and leadership in school, church, and community are eligible to apply.
