The John Cooper Hubbard Scholarship is available to Vermont residents in the nursing field (RN or LPN) or those advancing in medical or nursing studies, such as radiology, surgical technology, anesthesiology, phlebotomy, sonography, athletic training, dental hygiene, dentistry, exercise science, pharmacy, and physical therapy. Special consideration is given to students pursuing a degree or certification in nursing.

Requirements
  • Resident of Vermont
  • High school senior, undergraduate student, on academic break, or not currently enrolled
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree full or parttime
  • Studying nursing or medical studies, including radiology, surgical technology, anesthesiology, phlebotomy, sonography, athletic training, dental hygiene, dentistry, exercise science, pharmacy, and physical therapy
  • Attending or planning to attend an accredited school approved for federal Title IV funding in the U.S. or Canada
  • U.S. citizen or FAFSAeligible non-citizen
  • Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to students studying nursing.
