Requirements
  • This program is open to high school seniors and students enrolled full or part time in a 1-year diploma in a welding-related field, a 2-year associate degree in welding or engineering, or a 4-year bachelor's degree in welding or engineering.
  • Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and be able to demonstrate financial need.
  • Selection is based on that statement, academic record, membership in the American Welding Society (AWS), extracurricular activities, letters of recommendation, financial need, and an interview.
