The John G. and Lillian M. Walsh Family Scholarship supports graduating seniors from Placer, Del Oro, Foresthill, or Colfax high schools in CA who plan to attend Sierra College, as well as returning or transfer students at Sierra College who reside in the Auburn area. Special consideration is given to students pursuing a degree or certificate in nursing, fire technology, health sciences (paramedics), mechatronics, drafting & engineering support, engineering, welding, or construction & energy technology.

  • Attending Placer High School, Del Oro High School, Foresthill High School, or Colfax High School in California
  • High school senior OR returning college student OR transfer student who resides in the Auburn area: Alta, Auburn, Colfax, Foresthill, Loomis, Penryn, or Rocklin, CA
  • Seeking a professional certification or associate degree
  • Planning to attend or attending Sierra College in Rocklin, California Preference is given to students studying a degree or certificate in nursing, fire technology, health sciences (paramedics), mechatronics, drafting & engineering support, engineering, welding, or construction & energy technology.
